If you asked me two weeks ago "What's the first thing you think of when you hear 'country town'?" I would have answered: Dust, bogans, pubs and trailor trash. Ask me again today and I answer with: Perfect sunsets, warm weather, new friends and the biggest untapped supply of vintage clothing... ever.
The thing with big cities is every hipster on the planet has already had their go at the vintage stores and it's hard to find something amazing AND cheap. The thing with the country is that the lower economic foundations of most towns means majority of the stores are thrift stores. That, and the most you'll pay for an item is around the $5 mark.
Here are some outfit posts via social snaps from the trip:
Bundaberg floral Lifeline blouse $0.30 and eBay bitallion boots
Hervey Bay Lifeline blouse $5, borrowed Agent99 bikeshorts, eBay bitallion boots.

I also picked up a few silk scarves, a kahki and white lace blazer, snakeskin print pants, John Lennon-esque sunglasses and the cutest Daisy Duke highwaisted shorts in the world. Oh, and I got a tattoo. More photos to come soon!
